The SFFEB sends out emergency notifications, information, and resources as well as ongoing updates for longer term emergency situations via email & everbridge/nixle. The exact communications to Agency Leadership, the Emergency Preparedness Working Group, and the Public Affairs Council may vary based upon things like the size, length, known cause, sensitivity, expected impact, or the complexity of the emergency and the level of public awareness & news media reports.
